Nicolle Simão has been a criminal defense attorney since 2015, with extensive experience in economic criminal law. She holds a Professional Certification in Anti-Corruption Compliance (CPC-A).

She holds postgraduate degrees in Economic Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences – IBCCRIM (2021), in Criminal Procedure and Fundamental Guarantees from the Brazilian Academy of Constitutional Law – ABDConst/RJ (2020), and in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure from Cândido Mendes University – UCAM/RJ (2018).

Completed courses in Anti-Corruption Compliance at Legal, Ethics & Compliance – LEC/SP (2023), and in Economic Criminal Law at the Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público – IDP/DF (2020) and the Fundação Escola Superior da Defensoria Pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – FESUDEPERJ (2016).
