Mariana Castilho

Mariana Castilho de Araujo Jorge holds a Law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2025), with a focus on Criminal Law. She served as a teaching assistant at the Legal Practice Center in the criminal area (2024–2025) and completed her degree with a thesis approved with the highest distinction, entitled “How the Current Justice System Contributes to the Secondary Victimization of Women Victims of Sexual Violence.”

She began her professional career as an intern at the Public Defender’s Office with the 42nd Criminal Court of the Capital District/RJ (2022–2023) and subsequently gained experience at law firms specializing in criminal law (2023–2025). In the second semester of 2025, she joined Fragoso Advogados as an attorney.
