Humberto Souza Santos

Humberto Souza Santos has been a criminal lawyer since 2003. He has a PhD in Criminal Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2018) and a master's degree in Criminal Sciences from the Cândido Mendes University (2006), and was a guest scientist (Gastwissenschaftler) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität of Munich, Germany (2008/2009). He taught in the Postgraduate Course in Business Criminal Law and Complex Crime at IBMEC/RJ (2018) and in the Postgraduate Course in Criminal Sciences at the Institute of Education and Research of the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2017 and 2018 ). He was Deputy Coordinator of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences in the State of Rio de Janeiro (2017 and 2018). Author of the books “Does the theory of legal good still live?” and “Co-authorship in culpable crime and objective imputation” and several legal articles.
