Flávia Fiori

Flávia Fiori holds a Law degree from the Instituto Brasileiro de Mercados e Capitais – Ibmec/SP (2024) and is a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências Criminais (IBCCrim). During her studies, she interned at the São Paulo Court of Justice, working in the 1st Criminal Court and the 2nd Jury Court of the Central Criminal Court. She also gained experience in Corporate Criminal Law at Demarest Advogados. In 2022, Flávia joined Fragoso Advogados as an intern and was promoted to lawyer in 2024. Her thesis focused on analyzing the regulatory context of betting in Brazil through the concept of risk society, exploring the links between this sector and financial crimes such as money laundering and foreign exchange evasion.

    She joined Fragoso Advogados as a trainee in 2022 and became a lawyer in 2024. Her college final thesis aimed to analyze the regulatory context of gambling in Brazil through the concept of risk society, exploring the connections between this sector and the financial crimes of money laundering and money smuggling.
